ABOUT OUR LABEL ARTIST
PINA AMBROSINO
Pina Ambrosino is a talented artist whose work intertwines the exploration of human connection, vulnerability, and healing.
Drawing inspiration from her own life experiences by exploring the therapeutic aspects of her art. Pina creates bold, figurative pieces that capture the essence of strength and compassion. Pina has had several exhibitions showcasing her paintings and sculptural ceramics. She is also known for her unique ceramic works under Gallery Court particularly the Curly Plate range with its vibrant sculptural faces which playfully embraces themes of shared stories and communal experiences, inviting viewers to celebrate their own connections.
Our favourite piece of Pina's notable collection is "At Last," which began as a commission for Amy Gerard.
The creation of "At Last" not only sparked a rich dialogue between artist and commissioner but also served as the catalyst for the creation of the label we are proud to share today, celebrating the transformative power of art, friendship and sharing a bottle of wine.
Pina’s past exhibitions explored the emotions and complexities of her own narrative, the figures in her artworks often find solace and comfort in sitting with and facing life's uncomfortable situations with equanimity. She celebrates the often perceived imperfections of the human form, and explores the richness and contrast of the human experience.
Her work serves as both an artistic endeavour and a medium for healing, inviting others to embrace their unique stories.
With each piece, Pina seeks to inspire a deeper understanding of self and others, fostering a vibrant connection among artists and audiences alike. Sip on a glass of At Last and check out Pina's work on her website or follow her journey on Instagram.
