BY MIKE BENNIE - WINEFRONT
Quite a loose knit, flirty cabernet sauvignon without grandeurs; a pleasing, soft, slippery red. Some cassis, breathy kirsch, faint sandalwood and flinty notes. Some tannin grip kicks in late too. Cabernet 101 from Langhorne, with a little extra subtlety. Does the trick, needs a bit of food to get it going to its best. Do what the label says and drink it at the close of play.
