Wine Review | The Kings' Creed Chardonnay 2017

BY MIKE BENNIE - WINEFRONT

A new project from Nathan Sharpe (former Wallaby Captain), Samantha Sharpe (former LVMH Marketing Manager) and David Krenich (former LVMH superstar) with winemaker Ben Riggs at the winemaking helm. This hits the spot for a fresh take on chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills. Clean as whistle too.

Razor cut slices of nectarine, green apple, a faint hint of nougat and vanilla cream. Feels bright and very fresh, leaner in style than the the bouquet suggests, nice sense of spice and citrus zest breezing through that perfume. It’s super easy to drink, feels like it brings a touch of class. Fairly priced, if not punching above its weight.
